My name is Maiwenn Cabooter, and I am 21 years old, originally from Middelkerke. Since my childhood, I have always been fascinated by how things work and how people connect with each other. Photography was for a long time my way of capturing the world and communicating, but as I grew older, I started to wonder more and more how I could combine my passion for creativity and visual communication with my interest in the world of marketing.

Choosing Marketing and Communication

As a Marketing and Communication Support student at Howest, I’ve had the opportunity to further develop my curiosity about human interaction and the power of communication. My decision to pursue marketing wasn’t just a random choice; it was a quest for a career that combined my passion for creativity, my eagerness to learn, and my desire to make an impact. Marketing offers a unique space where I can use communication strategies and techniques to help businesses and brands stand out and leave a lasting impression on their audience.

My sociable nature and curiosity play an important role in this choice. I am always looking for ways to learn new things, meet people, and collaborate to bring innovative ideas to life. In marketing, I can fully leverage these traits by not only working with numbers and data, but also developing creative solutions and campaigns that resonate with people.

Furthermore, technology plays an increasingly important role in marketing. The rise of AI, social media, and digital platforms makes it possible for brands to communicate much more specifically with their audience, and this deeply intrigues me.
